1. Scope of Services
These terms apply to all services provided under the FindUsLocal engagement, including SEO setup and on-page optimisation, Authority Asset creation, AI optimisation, and ongoing marketing support as outlined in the proposal.
2. Service Limitations
FindUsLocal cannot guarantee specific search rankings, AI Overview placements, or the behaviour of third-party platforms including Google, Meta, and AI systems. Search engine algorithms change without notice and are outside our control.
3. SEO Setup and On-Page Optimisation
The setup phase includes keyword research, metadata optimisation, structured headings, internal linking, image optimisation, local SEO foundations, and Google Search Console setup. Any restrictions imposed at the hosting or platform level remain the client's responsibility.
4. Content Creation and Authority Assets
The client is responsible for the accuracy of all information supplied for use in content. All content should be reviewed and confirmed by the client before publication. FindUsLocal accepts no liability for inaccuracies in client-supplied information.
5. AI Optimisation (AEO and GEO)
Content is structured to improve visibility in AI-driven search surfaces including Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity. No guarantee of placement within AI-generated answers can be made, as these are determined by the AI systems themselves.
6. Ongoing Monthly Services
Monthly services include Authority Asset creation, AI and search optimisation, Google Business Profile updates, Facebook content, featured image creation, schema implementation, and performance reporting. Continued access to all relevant platforms must be maintained by the client throughout the engagement.
7. Third-Party Platforms and Tools
FindUsLocal has no control over Google, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Facebook, or AI platforms. Changes to these platforms, including algorithm updates and policy changes, are outside our control and are not grounds for service suspension or refund.
8. Client Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information when requested
- Maintain login credentials for all relevant platforms
- Approve content in a timely manner to avoid delays
- Keep the website updated and avoid making unauthorised technical changes
- Notify FindUsLocal of any significant business changes that may affect the strategy
9. Liability and Indemnity
- FindUsLocal is not liable for ranking loss caused by algorithm changes
- FindUsLocal is not liable for hosting, plugin, or third-party platform outages
- FindUsLocal is not liable for penalised content arising from client-supplied information
- The client agrees to indemnify FindUsLocal against any claims arising from information they have supplied
10. Service Suspension
- Services may be paused where platform access is denied or withdrawn
- Services may be paused where the website presents a security risk
- Services may be suspended where invoices remain unpaid beyond 7 days
- FindUsLocal reserves the right to withdraw from an engagement where a security or reputational risk is identified
11. Payment Terms
The one-off setup fee is due at the commencement of the engagement. Monthly fees are due in advance on the 1st of each month by standing order or direct debit. Services may be suspended after 7 days of non-payment.
12. Cancellation Notice
Two months written written notice is required to cancel the monthly service. Notice received with less than two months remaining may result in a charge to cover the outstanding notice period.
13. Amendments to Terms
FindUsLocal reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions. Changes will be communicated by email or published online. Continued use of the service following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Acceptance of Terms
Engaging the services of FindUsLocal and proceeding with the proposal constitutes full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
