Scope of Services

These Terms and Conditions apply to the Marketing Services outlined in your proposal, including SEO setup, on-page optimisation, content creation and revamp, AI-optimised search (AIO), and ongoing marketing support. The services are designed to improve visibility, search performance, and customer engagement across traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms.

Service Limitations

Our optimisation services are intended to enhance discoverability and support long-term search performance. While every effort is made to follow best practice and current search guidelines, we cannot guarantee specific rankings, positions in AI summaries, or the behaviour of external platforms such as Google Search, Google Gemini, ChatGPT, or Claude. Search and AI systems evolve constantly, and their outcomes remain outside our control.

SEO Setup & On-Page Optimisation

The initial setup includes keyword research, metadata optimisation, structured headings, internal linking, image optimisation, and local SEO setup. Implementation may require access to your website, hosting environment, or third-party tools.

Any technical issues or limitations within your existing website, theme, or hosting provider may affect the effectiveness of the optimisation. We will always advise where upgrades, fixes, or improvements are recommended, but hosting-level or software-level restrictions remain the client's responsibility.

Content Creation and Page Revamp

Content creation is based on the information you provide and industry-standard research. You are responsible for ensuring all information supplied or produced is accurate, up-to-date, and lawful.

We cannot accept liability for inaccuracies resulting from outdated or incomplete information provided by the client.

Once the content is delivered, you will need to review and confirm that all details accurately reflect your services.

AI Optimisation (AIO) for Search

AI optimisation focuses on structuring and presenting content in a way that is easily understood by AI-driven search tools.

As AI technology continually evolves, we cannot guarantee placement in AI snapshots, summaries, recommendations, or chat-based tools.

We will always follow the latest available guidance and best practice, but third-party algorithm changes may affect results at any time.

Ongoing Marketing Services

Ongoing support includes content creation, strategy guidance, Google Business Profile updates, and general marketing advice. These activities rely on continued access to relevant platforms, logins, analytics tools, and third-party software.

Any restrictions, account issues, or access delays may impact the delivery of ongoing services. Recommendations are made in good faith and based on available data at the time.

Third-Party Platforms and Tools

Many elements of the service rely on external systems, including Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, email providers, Facebook, and AI platforms. We have no control over the functionality, uptime, policies, or changes made by these platforms.

We cannot guarantee performance, visibility, or data availability where third-party systems are involved.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure the successful delivery of services, clients must:

Provide accurate, timely information regarding services, business changes, pricing, and local coverage.
Maintain secure access credentials and inform us immediately of any changes.
Approve content drafts in a timely manner.
Ensure that website access, hosting, plugins, and software remain up-to-date and functional.
Avoid making unauthorised changes that may affect SEO performance or overwrite work already completed.

Any delays caused by missing information, access issues, or unapproved changes may affect timelines and outcomes.

Liability and Indemnity

We take reasonable care in delivering all marketing, SEO, and AI-optimisation services. However, we are not liable for:

Loss of rankings or visibility resulting from algorithm changes
Issues arising from hosting providers, third-party plugins, or website software
Loss of data, leads, or revenue connected to platform outages, AI system changes, or customer behaviour
Content removed or penalised by search engines or AI platforms due to reasons beyond our control

Clients agree to indemnify us against any claims, damages, or losses connected to the use of supplied content, except in cases of direct negligence or wilful misconduct on our part.

Service Suspension

We reserve the right to pause services where:

Access to required tools or platforms is denied
The website is running insecure or unsupported software
Invoices remain unpaid
Activity on the site poses a security risk or breaches terms of third-party platforms

Services will resume once the issues are resolved. Additional fees may apply where remediation is required.

Payment Terms

Payments are due monthly, in advance, on the 1st of each month by standing order or direct debit. A receipt can be issued upon payment.

If payment is not made within seven days, services may be suspended until the account is brought up to date. Continued non-payment may result in cancellation of services.

Cancellation Notice

A two-month written notice period is required to cancel marketing services. This ensures ongoing work can be finalised and access can be safely transferred. Notice of less than two months may incur additional charges, depending on the work already scheduled or completed.

Amendments to Terms

We may update or adjust services, pricing, or these Terms as needed. Changes will be communicated via email or published online. Continued use of our services after such updates will be treated as acceptance of the revised Terms.

By engaging our SEO Setup, Content Creation, AI Optimisation, or Ongoing Marketing Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the scope, expectations, and limitations outlined above.
